I’ve been busy sending out quotations for a good number of upcoming events. I reckon my lucky star has been shinning bright. Amen to that. Here’s a list of events that I will be doing in the next few weeks that are opened to the public…

SOL represents Mambo at Zouk - 27th May

I’ve worked this event for the last three months and it’s been nothing short of fun. Besides the gold body painting we’ll do on these two dancers, you can get a SOL airbrush tattoo at the door. Get spotted by our events crew and get a bottle of SOL free!

Carnival Attica - 30th may
Celebrate Attica’s 5th anniversary with a candy land theme. If you come dressed in a fancy costume before 11pm, you’ll receive free entry! For more information about Carnival Attica, visit www.attica.com.sg.

Jurong Bird Park - every weekend in June
Have a Magical Time at Jurong Bird Park! There’s loads going on at the Bird Park this coming June holidays. Besides getting an airbrush tattoo, there are magic workshops for the kids and many more fun-filled activities. For more information, visit www.birdpark.com.sg.

SAFRA National Runway - 21st June
It’s the only event of it’s kind in Singapore! Take part in this unique sporting event that brings together cyclists and skaters. You can register online by clicking here.

This year’s National Day Parade theme is Come Together. I’ve been reaching out to the many Group Representation Constituencies (GRC) about airbrushing at their NDP events. I reckon things will work out sooner rather than later. I love working national events and it sure does wonders for one’s portfolio.

Enough about my work. how’s the week treating you? If work is getting to you, try chilling out for a bit. It’s Wednesday anyway and the weekend is just two days away…

Wassup with the expensive tickets for the Liverpool vs Singapore match? There is no way in hell I’m gonna pay 88 bucks to watch Liverpool play a friendly with our national team. I doubt our Lions could beat a team like Wigan to begin with. I’m just being realistic here.

Sure, if Liverpool were playing a friendly with United or even Ajax, I wouldn’t mind paying that kind of money. My bet is that they will show the match on cable. Cheap old me will just have to settle with that. Besides, at least I’ll be able to see them up close. Heh!

Alright folks, I’ve got some phone calls to make. I’ll leave you with a funny quote from this book my wife bought me…

“No smoking, no drinking, no pills - pregnancy is a pain. But only for the mother! We dads can get as legless, obese and high as we damn well please!” - Richard Taylor
