Posted by So this is why I’m here. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan. I have been here about 8 months and will be home in about 4. Now I am working mostly with the New Zealanders and this is where I first saw the Maori tattoos. I have to admit I really like them. I know they are very meaningful to them but I do like the style. Thats why I’m looking for something along the lines of the Maori design but with more of a Tribal infulence. As far as placement I am looking from the top of my shoulder down to just above my elbow.
